Project: KPI Dashboard builder
Project Objective
This project was to build live dashboards for one category of KPI’s for Southern Health.
This is to form part of a larger set of executive level dashboards.
All KPI’s and reports are in line with government based requirements centred on quality and control of the health sector.
Project Problem & Solution
The KPI reports were manually created by consolidating data from various departments, hence this time consuming task would take weeks to complete. Reports were not in real time and hence created room for error and out of date information. This meant the organization could not react to immediate issues as and when they arose. Some of these issues included:
- Patient and performance management
- Reduction in administrative cost
- Discovery of new revenue opportunities
- Supply cost optimization
- Fraud identification
- Detection of cost effective treatments
- Disease management targeting early prevention vs. expensive late-stage therapies.
- Efficient and effective reporting
BCS designed a reporting architecture and delivered a KPI focussed dashboard as paid Proof of Concept which is now being rolled out across the organisation.
